Knowledge Creates Sustainability
At the GDV’s TransVer Day 2023 at Haus Ungarn in central Berlin, around 180 representatives from businesses, politics, and various civic groups came together to discuss the challenges of transformation in line with the slogan “KNOWLEDGE CREATES SUSTAINABILITY.”
One highlight of the event was the announcement of the TransVer Award winners. In 2023, the award went to Behnaz Vassighi and Lukas Wißmann from the Hamburg-based KinderKulturKarawane for their outstanding educational program “CREACTIV for Climate Justice.” The prize, endowed with 5,000 euro, recognizes exemplary sustainability projects and emphasizes the significance of innovative approaches for a sustainable future.
In addition to Anke Rehlinger, Premier of Saarland, and Ricarda Lang, Co-Chair of Alliance 90/The Greens, Judith Pirscher, State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, also contributed to the debate as a keynote speaker.
The TransVer Day 2023 provided a forum for in-depth dialogue on pressing transformation issues. Dr. Julia Kropf hosted the hybrid event.
