NewSpace in Action
In October 2023, leading figures from the space industry and high-ranking representatives from politics and science gathered at the Space Congress of the Federation of German Industries. This important event was dominated by NewSpace, the commercialization of space travel, and its increasing integration with the non-space economy.
Around 700 guests not only experienced exciting ideas and panels at Kosmos, but also the vibrant atmosphere of an industry in transition.
The congress brought together experts from various fields of space travel, including space companies, start-ups, research institutes, and government agencies. The event content was presented both on a central main stage and in various side events, such as the Kids Talk by German ESA astronaut Matthias Maurer and reserve astronaut Amelie Schoenenwald. These events highlighted the latest developments and challenges facing the industry.
Host Janna Linke guided the audience through the high-profile event, which not only imparted knowledge but also provided space for inspiring discussions and forward-looking ideas.
